Highlights:

  • Mentored and coached designers to achieve goals ranging from winning their first design awards to developing accessibility expertise

  • Acted as the voice of design within the company – speaking at conferences, conducting webinars, writing blog posts, and collaborating with other managers and directors across the company

  • Design lead on major internal projects including a new website builder UI and numerous design templates

  • Oversaw transition and training from Sketch to Figma as primary design tool for team

  • Organized team retreat and training in NYC

  • Initiated small group critique sessions to elevate our creative output and offer opportunities for collaboration, previously absent within the team

  • Initiated committees within the design team to create professional development opportunities

  • Managed and controlled sensitive client situations
