Finalsite · Design Manager

I lead Finalsite’s international team of 12 designers, working closely with each to achieve individual and organizational goals. As Finalsite does not have a creative director, I also handle responsibilities common to that role.

  • Initiated small group critique sessions to elevate our creative output and offer opportunities for collaboration, previously absent within the team

  • Provide high-level creative feedback and direction

  • Manage and control sensitive client situations

  • Maintain team documents and assets including master style guide

Finalsite · Senior Web Designer and Design Team Lead

At Finalsite, I've designed 60+ websites for schools around the world—from universities to public school districts; creating a mixture of unique, specific pages and comprehensive visual systems for each client.

Additionally, I led in-person client presentations, conducted webinars, wrote blog posts, reviewed designers’ sites, and trained new designers. I also worked closely with the front-end development team, the product team, and my manager on both creative and company initiatives.

  • 30+ industry awards, inc. 6 Davey Awards and 1 W3 award

  • Trained 8 new team members when Finalsite UK was acquired

  • 5-8 client onsite design and consultation trips per year

  • Collaborated on new time-saving Sketch style guide
