The challenge for this site was to present empowering, but potentially upsetting information without overwhelming viewers. Large typography and pops of red are balanced by the use of ample white space and sky blue.
I designed a responsive site that was flexible enough to grow with the project and ensured that the design would be easy for their many volunteers to update within the CMS platform.
Since launching the site, I've created a variety of additional visual assets for the project, including a suite of images used to promote a their (successfully funded) Kickstarter campaign.

Heavy Seas Alehouse
I established an updated look for Heavy Seas Alehouse keeping elements of the brewery’s design, while providing the restaurant with their own look and feel. Nautical elements and the visual language of old maps were used to give the menu life.
This look was carried through onto a full range of menus, including the new Arlington and Heavy Seas Burger branches. I've also created snack labels, business cards, posters, gift certificates, monthly event imagery and newsletters, social media images, and more.
Armstrong • Dixon were looking for a fresh new site to launch with the announcement of their newly formed financial advisement company. I designed a simple, modern site to set them apart from the company they were breaking from. Finally, to capture the personal feeling they were after, I photographed the crew in their new office.
Site completed at Drexler.
NrgySvr replaces old lighting technology with new, green technology, opening up property owners for applicable certifications, tax benefits, grants, and a clear conscience.
I created the company's branding and business cards.
Seawall was looking for a simple, fun website to tell the story of their new development project, Miller's Square. I created these playful illustrations to match the character of the neighborhood.
Site by Drexler in partnership with Matter.
For Cinco de Mayo, Drexler designed an interactive, online game for California Tortilla where users hit a digital pinata and are rewarded with either a prize or a fun image. I designed the post-smash slides. These ones were my favorites.
Project completed at Drexler.
The Ale House Columbia

Baltimore at a Glance
Drexler invited American-made menswear vendors from across the country to Baltimore to sell their wares at their event, Confirmed Stock. I created this map to guide the out-of-towners to the best sites around Space 2640, where the event was held.

I've designed and coded a range of email newsletters for clients, including one-off emails, mobile-friendly designs, and fully-editable, responsive templates. These are a few of my favorites.
